Dr. Shropshire uses the 8-Phase Action Plan in increasing the number of diverse faculty, staff and administrative candidates. The key to diverse recruitment is effectively implementing networking opportunities and building relationships.
Dr. Shropshire can visit your campus for a 2-day period and lead focus groups on discussions of diversity, inclusion and equity. The client institution is responsible for selecting the groups, but we encourage meeting with two separate groups - faculty members and staff/administrators.
The focus groups are designed to evaluate a series of questions regarding the campus climate, support and the process of identifying what can make the campus more interactive with diversity issues.
